Love, love, love Bushra!!! Her sideways glances make me giggle like a school girl. Someone please make her permanent. Her chemistry with the Masoods is magic!!

I love Bushra. Tamwar is a great character 'I often wish I had autism'.

I didn't realise Bushra was Zaineb's sister! They look so alike. I think it's a really good idea bringing in these extra Masoods! I still don't like Syed, though. :( And I'm not sure about Parveen, either. The acting last night between the pair of them was really bad!

Whitney and her mum are really well matched. They look really alike. Is she really going to Greece, or will she be coming back?

Please axe Chelsea! I have had enough of her now.

I guess I've missed something.

When was it said Bushra was Zainab's sister

And no I don't think Chelsea should be axed. She just needs a decent storyline. I hope the drugs last night were a sign they are going to do the storyline more justice this time.

The episode was OK. Some funny scenes with the Masoods (especially Tamwar going on about autism and making everyone bored)
The best stuff was with Debra/Whit/Bianca/Ricky/Tiff. Debra was a right b**** telling B and Ricky that she's never promised to Whit that she'd take her to Greece. Also felt sorry for Ricky when Tiff asked Debra about "her dad" - Nathan.
I have a feeling that Whit really wanted to tell Debra about Tony but Debra just didn't seem to be interested in her problems. B should have told Debra that Whit was sexually abused. Debra thought that she only had some "boy trouble" and played down the importance of Whit's problems. And Debra telling Whit that she shouldn't trust any man just wasn't right since Whit already doesn't trust anyone and she is working on regaining her trust in people.

I have to agree that I don't find Preeya Kalidas particularly great and I don't think Amira really brings anything to the table so to speak. Parveen also gets on my nerves, she's just overly and unrealistically obnoxious.

I'm glad I'm not alone in thinking this! I found the falling out of the wardrobe just too panto for me; much as I like the Masoods, I wonder if this Syed/matchmaking farce is pushing things a bit. Tamwar has definitely become one of my favourite characters in EE, great comic timing from Himesh P.
Stinks in 'ere don't it? You ain't my muvver! Rickaaayyy! YOU want to bring up Chloe? You couldn't bring up phlegm! Ooh I say! You bitch! You cow! Happy Christmas, Ange! Tell you what pal, you talk to me like that again and you're gonna get a dry slap! Ooh I say! Hello Princess! Get outta my pub! What d'you take me for? Some kind of pilchard? There's potentially good comic value in Amira. I also feel she brings a little bit of class to the table.

I've always been very positive about the character but I would agree she is nothing amazing at the moment. The thing is we've hardly seen anything of her so far have we? We have to give her a chance.

Enjoyed that episode last night!

Masood's were good even if it did become a little bit panto after a while with everyone running up and down the stairs and Amira falling out of the wardrobe and into Syed's arms. Not really a fan of Amira and if I'm honest I'm still not warming to Syed. Tamwar is a great character though, he's funny and just very likeable.

I actually really like Chelsea, we've been watching her in a stable and pretty normal relationship these past few months and that's why she's become bored! Chelsea loves a bit of excitement and Theo is just plain boring. I think Chelsea's a character with a lot of potential but nobody has had the bottle to actually dedicate a proper storyline to her, the drug storyline was over too soon and I think Tiana has shown that she can be a decent actress is some scenes so hopefully this is the start of a good story for her. Ellis was weird though especially with those worrying dance moves!

Whitney, Debra and Bianca were great once again, Bianca looked great all dressed up in the second half of that episode! I like how cold Debra comes across, she has no feelings towards Whitney which is sad but shows what kind of person Debra really is. Bianca was clearly hurt by Tiffany asking Debra what Nathan was like and then Ricky must have been hurt when Bianca said he was the love of her life!

Bushra and Zainab aren't related, just old friends - if they were sisters, my guess is they wouldn't be so keen for their offspring to date each other, as that would make Syed and Parveen cousins. <_<

But I agree they are two very similar strong matriarchs, which adds to the comedy aspect of their storylines. ;)

Parveen called Zaineb Aunty. And people who are cousins can marry in Western culture, so I suppose there would be no problem in Asian culture as well!

Tamwar said they say that for respect. They're not related, just friends.

I think it was mentioned in a previous episode that they call her Auntie "out of respect".

I used to do the same thing with parent's friends, next door neighbours etc.

In some cultures it's quite common to call your parents good friends - aunt or uncle. I call my mum's best friend (they've known each other since they were 12) auntie and her daughter calls my mum like that as well.

Yep its the respect thing. I call some of my parents friends Aunty and Uncle even now. Some of my friends are Aunty's and Uncles to my daughter when they're not my siblings. Zainab and Bushra do look very a like though.

I wasn't overly fond of the episode and I really don't like Amira. Preeya is a very 'blah' actress IMO and who didn't see her falling out the wardrobe, before she actually did?

Tamwar was the only saving grace throughout the whole episode. Apart from the cute Max and Tanya scenes. In real live they so wouldn't get back together after what they did to each other but hell, it's EastEnders. It'll happen.

Maybe you should mute the sound when he comes on the screen. You might like him if you cant hear his voice

I don't like his acting style. It's like he's trying too hard.
